The majority of US states forbid the triple cocktail used in Capital punishment lethal injection when administered to family pets and rabid animals. But seven of the nine Supreme Court Justices approved Kentucky's use of the triple threat in the execution of criminals who are often black and frequently retarded.
Justice after justice told heart wrenching stories of their childhood pets who had to be put down. They specifically stated time after time that they would never want their beloved Muffie or Dickie to receive injections that might render them unable to react to the excruciating pain that was putting them to sleep.
But when it came to the Blue Grass State's practice of chemical torture of its capital criminals, a great majority of Supremes voted for the painful kill.
A spoof reporter at the court summed up the opinions this way: " basically they said that pets are precious but these are only human beings and not even fetuses or near dead semi-corpses. Plus they did really bad things very unlike the really bad things we justices have done."
One Supreme Injustice was quoted as screaming: "Pump in the jungle juice and let's watch them soundlessly scream and motionlessly squirm!"
