BALTIMORE - The Shopping News has promoted Sir John Smith to the newly created position of literary editor.
Eddie Krnzski, publisher of the Shopping News, Coupon Clipper, and several sister publications made the announcement today at a press conference.
"We want to be at the cutting edge of trade publications," Mr. Krnzski said. Just to give you one example, Sir Smith has made the decision to set all advertising copy in iambic pentameter. That is just pure genius."
Mr. Krnzski went on to say that Sir Smith has also made the decision to edit photographs to have a nineteenth century look. "We are going to blow the competition out of the water."
