In a controversial plan to help bolster solidarity in the Democratic party, it was announced today that at the up-coming Democratic primary, Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama will perform on stage together.
The two presidential hopefuls will kick off a duet with Stevie Wonder's "Ebony and Ivory" for the whole solidarity thing, then, will kick it up a notch with Twisted Sister's "I wanna rock," again, sticking to the whole solidarity thing but then adding that, together as one, or I, wanna rock, as in the vote.
"We're concern about what such a tight race may do to the party as a whole," said a top party official who requested anonymity because he or she was not authorized to speak to the press.
"We're trying to avoid a fracturing of the party with this 'out of the box' thinking," said the official while mimicking quotation marks with two fingers on both hands as he said out of the box, which should be illegal if not severely frowned upon.
Calls to both Democratic frontrunners were not immediately returned.
