Thousands of cows were heard mooing across the nation as news came down that a meat packing facility in Chino, California, will shut down permanently.
"It totally takes our union activities to a whole noooo level," said Swiss Holstein, head of Cow Local 795. "You can count on seeing a whole lot more 'downed' cows now that we have an effective strike strategy."
While most middle class cows attempt to find whole-some work in dairies, for many brown collar cows, feed lots are the only option. Today's announcement means hundreds of cows will put off their demise by at least 48 hours as they are shipped to neighboring facilities.
