Miami, Florida (IP) - A football game between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins turned into an all out riot Sunday which ended only when the National Guard was called in by Governor Crist.
It all started on the 50 yard line when a Jets fan was polite to a Dolphin fan and stood up to let the Dolphin fan get to his seat. The Dolphin fan said thank you to the Jets fan. The Jets fan replied by saying, "no, thank you." The Dolphin fan then said, "no, thank YOU", then the Jets fan replied even louder, "NO, THANK YOU!"
This kept going on for a while and their voices grew louder and louder in a rising crescendo and finally the fists started flying. Soon the fight spread like a growing wave and within five minutes the entire stadium was embroiled in a giant brawl.
The only people at relative peace were the opposing teams who looked up into the stands in astonishment. The whistle was blown and the frightened football teams were escorted off of the field.
Governor Crist called in the National Guard and they parachuted into the stadium with giant cannisters of pepper spray and put an end to the riot.
