Washington DC - (Disatser Press) It took a top UK general to tell George W Bush last weekend that his Iraq policy is 'intellectually and morally bankrupt'. And now those words are echoing across the entire USA amid news
that a B-52 bomber flew across the United States last week, "loaded with up to six nuclear-armed missiles".
"Just who in hell were they thinkin' of carpet bombin' this time?" worried US residents asked today.
Reports have suggested that the missiles were unaccounted for during "routine" three-hour flight across "normally peaceful American homeland" between North Dakota and Louisiana.
Pentagon sources admitted today that the missiles were mounted on the bomber's wings.
The weapons were described a W80-1 warheads with a yield of 5 to 150 kilotons and were carried on a 30 August flight Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana.
Many worried Americans now think that President Bush must be totally bonkers.
