Resistance is futile

Mephistopheles, Tennessee (IP) - Two million immigrants have been rounded up and arrested by homeland security and immigration agents for gross violations of ohm's law. They have been taken to special reeducation camps where they will be taught once and for all how to properly apply ohm's law and then they will be deported.

The problem stems from the fact that Spanish speaking persons pronounce "E" like an "I" and "I" like an "E".

An attorney for the immigrants argued that because of this technicality that they should be set free. He explained to the court that when an immigrant states that "I" equals "E" over Rrrrrrr (you have to Rrrrroll the Rrrrr's) that what he really means is that "E" equals "I" over "Rrrrr".

The judge stated that ohm's law is quite clear in its intent and that it was his judiciary responsibility as a sworn member of the jurispondencical establishment to mitigate and exacerbate all of the sections of implied ordinances and statutes applicable in this heavily weighted and gravitationally non-deficient interpretation of the United States penal code under section US-OICU812. Furthermore he saw no reason why he should rule on this matter until all legal precedents had been thoroughly investigated forthwith and to wit.

The attorneys then asked for a continuance which was granted due to the proximity of the hour to lunch time. Their continuance was granted and the case will be resumed in 90 days.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
