The attempted coup d'etat failed because the gunman was shot dead by the Feds

Denver, Colorado - (Rioters): An attempted coup d'etat in the Governor of Colorado's office has been foiled after an unidentified armed man was shot dead outside Gov Bill Ritter's office.

Witnesses say that the incident, as 1415 local time, involved a suspected Corrupt Bastards Club agent who was heard screaming: "I am the emperor and I'm here to take over state government."

Security officers pumped half a dozen shots into the raving gunman after ordering him repeatedly to disarm.

The state capitol has been sealed off as FBI agents hunt for suspected accomplices, check the premises for boobytrap bombs and other incendiary devices and attempt to round up other potential Corrupt Bastards Club agents who may be prowling in the area.

Governor Ritter, the former District Attorney for Denver, Colorado, was once a missionary along with his wife Jeannie and worked in Zambia for the Catholic Church recruiting new members.

Last week some US radio statins managed to confue Gov Ritter with Louisiana Senator David Vitter after he was outed as a serial top customer of DC madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

But he is not related.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
