Florida - (Ass Mess): More sex scandal woes are affflicting the Republican party with the news today that a Florida House of Representatives member was arrested yesterday and charged with soliciting a male undercover police officer.
Bob Allen is also John McCain's presidential campaign co-Chairman and was charged with second degree misdemeanour after falling into a sting operation to root out sex predators in Florida.
The news was met with grim horror on the State's House Agriculture & Environment Appropriations Committee, Environmental Regulation Committee, State Infrastructure Council and the Utilities & Telecommunications Committee where Allen has been serving.
A spokesman for the Spaceport & Technology Committee of which his Chairman said today: "We are dumbstruck."
The news follows recent revelations that GOP Senator david Vitter has had a lengthy dallliance with hookers after DC madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey outed him as a top client, a move that was then backed up be a Louisiana cat-house keepr who said she and her "gals" owed their livelihoods to his patronage.
There has been no comment from John McCain about Allen's bust, but his campaign was going down the pan for some time anyway so this is hardly surprising.
