President George W. Bush held a press conference this morning and announced that he has legally changed his name to Jorge Arbusto. Jorge is Spanish for George and Arbusto is Spanish for Bush. Hence, he will now be known as El Presidente Jorge Arbusto.
"I feel like it is the right thing to do", the president told reporters during the press conference. "I want to get this immigration bill passed and I want to achieve more common ground with undocumented immigrants."
The effect that the name change will have on President Bush's approval rating is, at this point, unknown. However, as with most policies of this president and his administration, approval ratings will likely continue to fall.
