Baghdad- President George W. Bush kicked off his campaign for his second term in the Oval Office by re-defining his strategy.
In front of a cheering crowd, surrounded by Hula dancers and gun-toting children, Bush declared: "Read my lips: No New Wars."
It was surely a move eerily reminiscent of his father's campaign motto in the 1992 presidential election, wherein the elder Bush declared: "Read my lips: No New Taxes." Unfortunately, the elder Bush lost to Bill Clinton.
Democratic party frontman John Kerry immediately declared in a statement to the press: "We are currently gathering the best lip readers in the country to dissect what Mr. Bush really said. He may have meant something else. You never know with that guy."
