The role of the baker doesn't have any lines

Washington (Spoof International News) - President Bush admitted on Thursday night's Charlie Rose show that he is gleefully counting down the days till the end of his second term.

"This being a lame duck is for the birds, Charlie Rose" said the President. "I can hardly wait for this Presidency thing to be over. I don't know why I agreed to doing it to begin with. Must have been a moment of weakness.

"But, on the other hand, I'm going to miss these paychecks. Sure, they're not that much really-kind of like walking around money-as my granddaddy used to say-but you get used to it after a while, know what I mean?"

Rose asked the President if he is making plans for the end of his term. "Well, Charlie Rose, let me tell you. Yes. I've been noodling over this for some time. My wife, Laura Bush, may not like this too much, but I've already signed up to play…well, kind of a small role in a French movie that will film right after I get out. The movie is called "La Fille avec le gros ane" and I play the baker. The director is some guy by the name of Luc Besson. Should be fun. Got my resume up on Monster.com but I'm not getting too many responses so far."

Mr. Bush's term ends on January 20, 2009.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
