If you're one of those people who doesn't like being made fun of, or you don't enjoy having your leg pulled, you may want to be on your guard on Monday morning, as it's April Fools' Day!
This April Fool's Day is expected to be every bit as foolish as those that have gone before, with ridiculous, childish pranks being the order of the day.
Work colleagues will think up some weird and bizarre 'situation', and relay it to others in the workplace in a calm, matter-of-fact way, hoping to stimulate someone's interest and disbelief, before laughing their heads off at the resulting confusion. It'll be such a hoot!
Others will move their colleagues' property around the office, so that it can't easily be located, causing annoyance. Just imagine the uproarious laughter that will result!
Emails will be sent around in order to sow the seeds of some story or other which isn't true, in the hope that it will be forwarded to still more gullible individuals, until the thing becomes so widespread, that it will be said to have:
Some employees may even say to one of their downtrodden colleagues that:
"The boss wants to see you in his office. He came in just now."
Silent giggles will then pass between 'those in the know', as the unfortunate brunt of the joke makes her way to the manager's office, where he waves her away, causing her maximum embarrassment.
Meanwhile, her colleagues are dying from the hilarious nature of this prank..
Heads will be thrown back, stomachs will be held in, and deep, uncontrolled laughter will be heard the length and breadth of the land, as jokers, jesters, pranksters and the like, torment their associates with their quirky senses of humour and quick-wittedness.
