A new sport is sweeping the nation. Bullet racing as it is called, is a big hit with inner city kids, especially African American youth.
During game play the player, or "perp" catches the attention of a police officer. He then makes a move, known as "a move" towards his belt or a pocket, and the race is on!
Special points are awarded for distance, duration and splash pattern.
Bullet racing shouldn't be confused with bullet catching, practiced by kung fu masters, magicians and Superman.
"We like to get involved in race based shooting" said Philadelphia police commissioner Sylvester "The Cat" Johnson. "While the object is to outrun the projectile, they usually catch one anyway", said The commish.
Philly leads the nation in this sport,but other cities such as Detroit and L.A. are strong contenders. "We also lead the U.S. in row-house bombing, so those other guys have some catching up to do", said Johnson.
