California, Huntington Beach police revealed today that they regularly plant evidence on unsuspecting citizens to teach rookie officers the fine art of setting up a suspect.
It's been a regular practice that's only resulted in a small number of critical shootings, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer charges. It seems suspects or, "perps", become angry and retaliate when things are slipped into their pockets or guns are planted in their vehicles.
One Sergeant stated, "we only set up the guilty ones", now that we've been exposed we'll stop this practice immediately. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
The Huntington Beach court house has been inundated with demands for appeals from prisoners charged with possession of controlled substances and weapons possession that coincidentally claimed they were set up by police.
