MIAMI, FL - U.S. NOA forecasters say Hurricane Patricia has crossed into Mexico and has caused little damage, dashing the hopes of cable news networks.
Hurricane Patricia did not produce the devastating results that all cable networks predicted, disappointing them all (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC) and crushing The Weather Channel's hopes.
"This is the second disappointing storm in a week", said Michael J. Kelly, President/CEO of The Weather Channel Companies (TWCC). "Tropical Storm Hermine caused no significant damage and now Hurricane Patricia appears to be impotent and limp."
"Our shareholders count on bad weather to bring us ratings and revenues, but this storm has failed miserably. Hopefully, Hurricane Patricia's entrance into Texas will cause massive destruction, turning this weather recession around", he added.
