Texas - The Fuhrer's highly impressionist painting skills may have skipped a generation but there's little doubt the pissartistic genome flows through Dubya's veins albeit diluted by a cocktail of bourbon and, likely, prescription meds.
This morning those finely honed canvas daubings were much in evidence at the unveiling of a new exhibition of Bush's art (sick) at his Dallas presidential library.
And the star of the show was Dubya's personal rendition of My Pet Goat, executed in distemper (a form of painters' whitewash) on a blank canvas.
"Yep, it's the centrefold of the collection," a curator at the George W Bush Exhibitionism Center commented, "really says something about his love of, uh, dumb beasts."
Two dozen pictures are on display including Dubya's take on a Nude Camp David summit with blood-brothers Blair and Putin whom he depicts frolicking in an indoor hot tub.
Another portrait, of Afghan mobster Hamid Karzai, shows him playing strip poker with former Pentagon bagman General Colon Bowel and Condoleezza Rice.
The sell-out exhibition opens to the public this weekend after a mystery delay to its original April 1st opening.
Barbara Bush is 104.
