A California woman stung more than 1,000 times by a swarm of bees is expected to be okay, but has vowed revenge on the bees that stung her.
"Apparently," said a close friend of the woman "these bees swarmed towards her, and, taking advantage of her age, sold her over 4,000 jars of honey, that she didn't need, and really didn't want. They charged her $20 a bottle, it was a con, a sting, and she is going to sue."
Bees are notoriously crafty. They often sting people, recently a man from Oregon paid over $70 for a jar of honey, which he bought directly from a bee.
Local authorities have advised people, that if you see a bee, stamp on it or swat it with a newspaper, but make sure it is dead, as if it isn't it is likely to fight back.
