MCINTYRE, Georgia - Filming on the popular hit TLC cable show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was interrupted after a swarm of zombie bees showed up at the Shannon-Thompson household backyard picnic.
June "Mama" Shannon, 32, and her live-in partner Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, 40, managed to grab daughters Alana (Honey Boo Boo), 7; Anna (Chickadee), 17; Jessica (Chubs), 15; and Lauryn (Pumpkin), 12;, and herd them inside their home.
Sugar Bear then grabbed his 12-gauge double-barreled shotgun and went back outside to see about shooting the sumbitches (his word).
The happy-go-lucky redneck raised his shotgun to fire at the frenzied swarm which had gathered on top of the pan of cornbread when he was suddenly nudged by the family's pet diary cow Mrs. Got Milk.
Sugar Bear got so startled that he accidentally fired off the shotgun knocking off two branches of a 200-year old pecan tree.
When Mama heard the shotgun blast she screamed out and ran outside. Instantly about 45 zombie bees flew towards her but she managed to fight them off with an old J.C. Penny bra that she just happened to be holding in her left hand.
In all of the frantic hullabaloo Chickadee realized that she had left her two-month-old baby Kaitlyn in a baby bassinet on the redwood picnic table.
Luckily the zombie bees did not see her or else they could have possibly taken her away to their zombie bees nest.
SIDENOTE: The show's producer Maxfield P. Shapiro stated that his cameraman and soundman stayed on the job and the entire zombie bee incident will be part of an upcoming episode.
