With so many problems from gas shortage to water shortage, home teaching is beginning to look like the answer for many educators.
"Think about the gas and money we would save", says one political proponent. "Lots of smart moms & dads out there who could share abilities and there are workers that could teach job training."
Sponsors say there could be one weekly meeting and one and night of sports/music a week. There would be only a few buses running and teachers could be teaching from a studio for parents to show on television.
"You could work in the tests scores. There would be more national testing and I think everything would work out, especially after a couple of years of experience", stated one educator.
We would save on security. The kids would be safer and if a child has a natural talent, the parents could choose the special teaching that could be added to the basics.
"It's a different world out there today", stated Edie Fromme, a principal at a large high school in Brooklyn New York.
Others stated that we could actually begin cutting our national debt and lower gas prices considerably.
