HOUSTON - The government of China has acquired a lot of property in the United States and they have a strong desire to purchase a lot more.
National Focus Magazine reported that (China) has expressed an interest in purchasing such well known American landmarks as The Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore, The Statue of Liberty, and the home where Marilyn Monroe lived in as a child.
NASA spokesperson Trent Timmelfarb has informed the U.S. news media that he received an email from the Chinese government stating that they would also like to purchase the Martian Land Rover Curiosity.
When asked why in the world they would want to buy the land rover, a Chinese representative simply said that Curiosity is an American icon and they would love to honor the United States by putting it on display in Hong Kong's Jackie Chan Museum of Artifacts.
SIDENOTE: President Obama replied that he will have a meeting with his wife, Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, and Vice-President Joe Biden and they will all discuss the matter.
