New York - Lawyers for the US Diabolical Liberties Union are pissed at Brit cops' nine hour detention of Brazilian national David Miranda at a Heathrow Airport transit zone this weekend.
The 28-year-old was nabbed after disembarking from a Berlin flight en route to Rio de Janeiro where he lives with Glenn Greenwald, award winning liberal journalist and pal of CIA justice fugitive Edward Snowden.
The move comes amid claims Greenwald has been under intensive screwtiny by US agencies after championing Snowden's whistleblower revelations in his column for the US Grauniad - a broadshit publication whose parent paper is regarded by many as the global epicenter of the leftie liberal media.
Tonight reports from London say the Airport cops' swoop on the Brazil national may have been at the request of the United States who demanded that every last scrap of electronic gadgetry like the guy's laptop, tablet, smart phone etc be seized and confiscated along with passwords, encryption codes and other smart stuff.
UK Evening News even speculated whether David Miranda had secretly been in covert touch with fugitive Edward Snowden, the renegade who for the last three months has been holed up at Moscow Airport in an asylum bid to evade extradition to the United States.
Snowden had previously passed 'masses' of stuff to the London HQ of the Grauniad newspaper which itself has been the subject of a huge police slash 'n' burn raid.
Reports indicated that the newspaper head office's servers have been completely smashed up after police won injunctions suppressing publication of any more Snowden shit about bugging, tracking, invasion of privacy and breaches of just about every US Constitutional right.
And not forgetting the European Human Frights Act itself.
