SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Dozens of satire authors staged a protest at the intersection of Banana Skin Ave. and Precariously-Placed-Vase-On-Top-Of-A-Ladder Highway to bring their complaints to the "people" of San Francisco.
At the heart of their protest is a slew of outrageous errors that the Federal Government has recently committed. The writers complain that the Federal Government is now in direct competition with them.
A spokesman for the writers, Harry Baals, said that they just can't compete with what is really happening. No matter what they write, it is not nearly as funny as what our Federal Government actually does.
After the protest, the Chairman of Homeland Security, Hugh Jorgan, announced that they will be adding a new department: Bureau of Humor, charged with stomping out laughter.
