President Barack Obama today, in response to criticism he has received about his pending one hundred million dollar trip to Africa, indicated to sources close to him, that he was considering changing the arrangements.
He has tentatively booked a flight on Air Africa, a non scheduled airline operated by Schalk Willem Burger, III, a descendent of a past president of South Africa. The five seats are for the president and his family and one Secret Service Agent, Big Bo Nazaroski.
There will be no advance transportation to precede him on this junket. He stated, "We are going to rent camels, at our expense, and Jungle Jack Hannah of the Columbus Zoo is going to loan us a Land Rover, and will have it at the airport when we arrive."
He reportedly has rented rooms in one of the Government flats which are reportedly used as drug houses and "lolli lounges" in Eldorado Park, south of Joburg. He indicated that there was no expense to our government as he would be a guest of the country.
He also indicated that he had arranged to work in his off hours to help defray expenses incurred during the trip. He will be working for Walmart who acquired a majority stake in Massmart Holdings Limited, the leading African retailer of general merchandise, home improvement equipment. "They already sent me a blue vest to wear I be greeting customers at the store."
Obama stated, "I want to go down as the president who saved the country one hundred thousand dollars by paying his own way."
