Author David Gilkes says he can not express how grateful he is to the IRS who he claims reviewed two pieces of his writing and wrote to him congratulating him on his efforts.
David, who writes speculative science fiction aimed at the YA market, encompassing werewolves, vampires, dancing and singing high school kids, time travel and zombies in his books has already posted the review on his website.
"Out of the blue this afternoon I got a nice letter from the wonderful people who work for the IRS" beamed David "They told me that both my 2009 and 2010 tax returns were "outstanding", which is just a great positive review, especially as I have no recollection of ever sending them in or filing"
