New York, USA. Popular Hollywood star and general pain in the backside, George Clooney, has announced he is running for the American Presidency. In a packed Chelsea Hotel press conference, the 50 year old former ER actor said he would run from Brooklyn to Jersey City, a distance of 45km in aid of Obama's Presidential campaign.
Clooney stated that he has been in training for months to fulfil this commitment and invited other celebrities to join him in his marathon effort. Stars such as Cee-lo Green and Charlie "winning!" Sheen have already indicated they will participate in the event. Megastar Madonna refused point blank to be involved.
George Clooney says he will, upon completion of this run, consider walking backwards for Christmas.
