Irrelevant News Story Dominates Headlines

An irrelevant news story is dominating headlines in the tiny town of Scooterville, New Jersey.

Scootterville (population 245) is famed for being the home of inventor Larry Cockspur, who in 1956 created the first overcoat with wings, sadly though, due to limited funding and the failure of the coat to fly, Cockspur committed suicide in 1987.

Cockspur's suicide occurred at the world famous Scooterville wildlife park, populated by several chickens and a scruffy dog.

Scooterville, where it is said the first roll up cigarette was made, is also famous for its Post Office, housed in a tree house and the world's smallest municipal car park.

Many residents of Scooterville have spent their whole lives in the quaint town, indeed many, if not all residents are related by blood, including spouses.

In 1995 it hosted the world dungaree championship, where contestants from all over the world congregated to compete in the event. Last year it was chosen as the venue for the next Man from UNCLE convention, where fans dress as characters from the popular 60's spy show.

Scootervilletourist.org is a great site if you are planning to visit, there are plenty of hotels and eateries within a 500 mile radius however public defecation is frowned upon. No beards.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
