Manchester United Football Club Bosses have revealed that Wayne Rooney is wanted for questioning by The Police. The announcement was made last night after an incident at Manchester united football club on Saturday afternoon was given wide publicity in the media.
The news is not entirely unexpected, insiders have been expecting this move for a couple of days and are surprised that it took so long for the Police to get in contact with Rooney.
But the incident in question is not the one where Rooney swore down a camera lens at his fans. No. It involves the rest of his goal celebration.
After the incident that shocked the nation, Wayne then went on to give a fantastic rendition of "Walking on the Moon", which of course was one of The Police's biggest hits in the 80s.
Sting was informed of this and he immediately decided that he needed to talk to Wayne about joining him on his 80s revival tour next Autumn.
Wayne is said to be considering the offer because he thinks he might be out of a job next year if he continues to swear at his beloved fans.
