Bristol - (Whodunnit News): A landlord bailed in the Jo Yeates murder probe has vowed to sue the media.
Pals of retired teacher Chris Jefferies had dubbed him a 'pillar of society' during his arrest and questioning by police.
But because of a typing error in a local rag Jefferies was described in highly unflattering terms.
'Pillock of Society' was the headline run by the Bristol Daily Smearer alongside a photo of his dark blue hair-do.
The former Clifton College lecturer apparently dyed his thinning tresses circa 1999 to match the color of his eyes.
Colleagues at the £27,000-a-year public school had dismissed the eccentricity as nothing more than a classic 'Blue Period' - similar to that of art genius Pablo Piccasso.
Jefferies is currently out on police bail as the hunt for Jo Yeates' killer continues.
