Tess's Daily Underwear

Internet auction site E-bay went in to meltdown on Friday night when Tess Daly co-host of BBC's Children in Need announced that the underwear she was wearing that night would be auctioned on their web site with the proceeds going to Children in Need

Miss Daly(41) who also co-hosts Strictly Come Dancing with Bruce Forsyth appeared on the programme with Sir Terry Wogan from 7pm to 10 pm when she had to leave to travel to Blackpool for the dancing programme. Immediately after 10, E-bay went in to meltdown with thousands of would be buyers putting in bids from 20p to £1,000, within an hour the bids had reached £110,000 and now the highest bid stands at £1.5 million.

Strictly Come Dancing's Ann Widdecombe has done the same but the highest bid was only 15p believed to have come from an ex Tory MP

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
