It is reported that following a two year campaign to clear her name. a Northern Irish school dinner lady has been successful.
The lady, who cannot be named, was suspected of grooming a pupil after she gave him a biscuit.
A spokesperson for the Education Department explained that providing a plain biscuit was OK. Providing a chocolate biscuit, however, could not be allowed.
It appears that it is OK to give a school pupil a digestive biscuit without a chocolate coating but don't touch the chokky ones or you could be breaking the law.
Political correctness gone too far. Meanwhile a dinner lady has endured two years of anguish.
