William Hague was facing another scandal after it emerged that The Stig had attempted to spend the night with him in a hotel near Oswestry.
According to newspapers, the Stig - anonymous and fictional star of Top Gear - had posted on his Blog (known as the Blig) that: "....William is so sexy, I just want to lubricate his bald pate with apple chutney and have a ploughman's lunch on his head."
According to his Blig, the driver sent an email to Hague inviting him to a motel so that they could spend a night of right wing, male only passion together.
"He failed to turn up" The Stig weeped. "I think he found the prospect of my large helmet off-putting."
