In accordance with the requirements under the Inequalities Act 2010 to discriminate in favour of women, the BBC have announced that the next Doctor Who MUST be female.
A spokeswoman said,"As with all other media outlets, super-heroes must now all be female and Dr Who is no different."
"As regular viewers will have noticed, we have been deliberately increasing the prominence of the female assistant in recent series, and now she is going to be significantly more important than the Doctor."
"Since viewers do not really have an interest in female super-heroes themselves such as Wonderwoman, along with the Hollywood producers we have decided to fool the watching public by pretending that there is still a male role model, when in fact she will be female."
"Similarly with the James Bond franchise,, where the women dominate and James Bond's role is reduced to a trivial supporting position, where all men should be, we have been doing the same."
"However, our next series will show Dr Who as female."
