Alex Salmond Scotlands First Minister, and Nicola Sturgeon Scotlands Health Minister want to promote the fishing industry in Scotland. Salmond and Sturgeon want to increase Scotlands position in the fishing industry to create more employment.
The fishing industry in Scotland already comprises a significant proportion of the United Kingdom Fishing Industry.
Scotland has just under 8.6% of the UK population but lands at its ports over 60% of the total U.K. catch of fish.
If they can help the fishing industry flourish, who cares if it takes a salmon and a sturgeon, to make it happen even if it does sound a bit fishy.
