The Mayor of London Boris Johnson today announced dynamic plans to lower London's carbon footprint. In a statement the Mayor said the London Eye would become a huge dynamo connected to a generator to be constructed adjacent to City Hall.
Tourists and passengers using the top attraction would then create the energy as they marvel at the sights of London whilst rotating. The energy expected to be made should be sufficent to run City Hall and half the Southbank.
Mr Johnson then went on to say the plans expected to cost in the region of £500,000 would cut the cost of heating and lighting City Hall by at least 50% This money could be used to fund other green measures he has plans for'
