Alastair Campbell has cried again during another interview, only a fortnight after of his lachrymose performance on the Andrew Marr show.
Campbell was appearing on a Saturday morning cookery show with famous Tony Blair dissident Claire Short. Short was asked whether she had ever been disappointed by Tony Blair's judgement in the kitchen.
"Not his cooking - but, once he told me that there was some fruit on special offer in a local middle east greengrocer. A group of us - some American Friends of Tony's who were very excited about the whole shopping affair- went to the shop in great numbers but couldn't find the fruit in question. Turned out that one of Tony's best mates wanted to own this shop, and basically the vast number of us who turned up forced the owner to flee."
Campbell then burst into tears. "I can;t stand this - Tony genuinely believed that were melons on mass reduction in that shop."
Short then added: "The Americans had apparently been to this shop before - they kept saying they wouldn't make the same mistake they had made previously and this time decided to take a shopping Bag(hdad)
