In an attempt to gain momentum towards the next general election, New Labour has decided to change its logo in an attempt to appeal more to the voters.
'We've paid many lobby groups and research firms to try and find a new logo for us,' Gordon Brown said at today's press conference at Number 10. 'I think it's lovely and describes the direction we wish to continue to take Britain once we win the next election.'
A civil rights protestor called us later and asked, 'Haven't you all seen this logo before?'
We had to answer with a firm, 'No.' After all we watch soap operas and play video games all day, so history is bound to repeat itself - saying we've refused to learn its lessons!
David Cameron later called us and said, 'Dam! I wish I had changed our party logo to that instead of that stupid tree - after we got rid of the Freedom Torch. But, at the end of the day, CCTV, eroding of civil rights and the growth of tyranny will still continue - no matter which one of us corporate bought off parties the plebs vote for.'
