A Met police officer policing the G20 demonstrations earlier this month has been branded "Karate Cop" after his violent antics were caught on camera.
In a statement, the Karate Cop was quoted as saying "I had to smack a bitch today cos she got out of hand, I don't particularly like smacking women but if they start, I'll definitely finish".
The video has landed the police officer in hot water as Karate groups from all over the world have expressed their concerns over the poor technique displayed by the officer. A spokesman for B.Lee Karate UK was quoted as saying "This officer should be ashamed of himself, it is obvious to see this man has never seen Enter The Dragon and should in no way be linked with this ancient art form we call Karate".
The police chief also made a statement saying "The officer involved will not be facing disciplinary action, in fact we are endeavouring to find him a role in Hollywood and hope to start filming "Karate Kid 7: The Cop Years", which will document this incident and the days surrounding".
