Former British children's presenter Rod Hull, presumed dead after his tragic death in 1998 is alive and well according to a patient at Camarthen Asylum.
According to John Pugh, a former Lorry driver from North Wales, Rod Hull faked his own death to escape the pressures of fame and is now living at Rhyl seaside resort.
"I can understand his reason" John told us. "The pressures of Pantomimes and children's parties must have got to him. I really do pity the bloke"
John who has been searching for Rod since he was sacked from his job and his wife left him in 1998, claims that Rod's business partner Emu has also gone into hiding.
"He keeps him stuffed in a suitcase in his attic" says John. "Although I am a devoted fan of Rod, I still think that is a bloody awful way to treat Emu. It's a wonder the RSPCA haven't caught on to him yet," he told us.
We sent a reporter to the address that John described, but found no trace of Rod. Instead they found an elderly women in her late 70's. "Rod what?" she told us, before slamming the door shut.
Rod Hull's alleged widow refused to give comment.
