Billions of Euros to be dumped on Dunkirk beach

The Bank of England has announced that it is going to print 700 billion Euros in order to devalue the once worthless currency which will soon be worth more than the pound.

The currency will be shipped over to the continent and dumped on Dunkirk beach along with 6 million wheelbarrows, allowing Europeans to wheel home the cash in a similar way to German wages during the hyperinflation in the 1920s.

The French prime minister, Sarcophagus, is deeply unhappy about this but it is believed that the French will have no way of stopping the cash laden ships following the loss of the only French submarine in a crash last month with a British submarine.

The French Dept. of Intelligence (an eleventh hour merger between the Ministry of Farming and Commission for Working Hours Reduction) is looking into the submarine crash as it believes this was all part of an elaborate plot to facilitate the cash dumping.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
