Bournemouth car dealer Nigel Duncan was still in a state of shock last night after finding gloves in a car's glove compartment.
Duncan, 42, made the odd discovery after taking a Rover 214Gsi in part-exchange from a female customer. In the course of the routine valet he opened the glove compartment and found a pair of black leather gloves.
"Nigel is still pretty freaked out" said a close friend. "You just don't expect to find something like that in this day and age. Cassettes, sticky Polos, biros that don't work, pay-and display tickets for sure but not gloves".
A spokesman for the Motor Dealers Association told TheSpoof.com "This is a serious case. We have advised all our members to be extra vigilant from now on, particularly with regard to ash in the ashtrays".
