As the Wii play station craze continues to rise, 'reality holidays' are set to prove popular meaning that the general public can now visit exotic locations without ever having to leave their home.
Geoff Strickland, a sales rep from Blackburn, who recently returned from a 'reality' holiday to Augusta said 'We got the Wii out, put some fake tan on and. turned the heating up and some cold Budweisers.
'We cancelled the papers, shut the curtains and dimmed the lights. To create the right impression that we were in America, we ate burgers, hot dogs and drank root beer.
'When we played the game we would chant U-S-A and after playing a shot would shout in fake American accents 'GET IN THE HOLE'.
'We are already planning our next reality holiday later in the year as we have just purchased the Wii ski-ing game.'
