Karen Matthews, Mother of Shannon has contacted the 'Guinness Book of Records' to enquire what the highest number of arrests within one family stands at.
At present, 65 members of her 'clan' have been questioned, detained or bailed by West Yorkshire Police with this number expected to rise.
The current record is held by The Gillespie family of Manchester who had 87 family members arrested.
The Matthews family will attempt to break the record and if they succeed, then they have given television crews exclusive access to a lavish celebration party planned at the local Community Centre with as much Diamond White as you can drink and thus, another record in the making.
