After leaving the BBC claiming they wanted him to be a "jester" former England international Ian Wright says he will dress as a clown every day for the rest of his life.
Baffled BBC bosses claimed Wright could not have quit because his job did not even exist after they lost the rights to England matches to rival station MTV.
Wright, dressed as a clown, told a press conference this morning, that he had already listed a company called I'm A Fucking Clown, and would begin booking events next week.
Wright, who squirted water at journalists from a flower on his jacket, paused to make a car from a balloon and spent the last fifteen minutes of the conference riding a very small bike around the hall, said that if England coach Fabio Capello asked him to come out of retirement, he would "think about folding the company."
