Holland Park - (Nauseous Mess): A new sculpture of Cherie Blair has been unveiled occupying pride of place next to the Diana Memorial Fountain in Hyde Park.
The work by sculptor Graham Husdon is constructed of used condoms, heroin needles, oil drums, canine excrement, cable wheels, cardboard boxes, paint, adhesive tape and unpaid parking tickets.
It looks exactly like a pile of rescued landfill and is entitled "Cherie, First Lady United States of England".
Sculptor Hudson said today that the location of his latest work is "a beautiful spot named after the most successful fascist dictator in history."
It form the artist's entry for this year's Turner Prize and has been submitted with guide notes proclaiming that it's "upper torso carries the suggestion of a hideous, corrupt old slag , possibly past her prime, desperately trying to maintain her appearance."
Already some vagrants that use the Diana Fountain as a makeshift urinal have been spotted pissing against the park's latest offering. And yesterday alkies from nearby Chelsea Harbour tried to set fire to it by dousing it with the daily meths ration and flicking lighted matches in its direction.
"Makes her look kinda black now, innit?" was their only comment.
