Hot on the heels of a movie deal and ongoing negotiations to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show for a $1m, modern day heroes Gerry and Kate McCann have licensed a new video game.
The player can take on the role of Gerry, Kate, or one of their close friends who were part of the legendary Tapas Seven. You fight your way through each exciting level, dodging difficult questions, negotiating huge fees for TV appearances, spending donations on the mortgage, and hunting for the guy who looks like George Harrison.
The video game will be released next month and stores in Essex are already reporting massive pre-orders. One shopper, Tracy, who was dressed in jogging bottoms and was pushing a pram, said: "It's, like, for a good cause and thing, like, yeah. Coz Kate and Gerry, they're, like, decent people and I think, like, we ought to, like, kind of support them. I'm getting the game for my eight kids so, like, they have something educationalist to do when they coming home from school and thing."
