Charlie Brown, morose Cartoon Character of the 1970's, and father of Gordon Brown (a morose cartoon Character of the 2000's), has hit out at his sons plans to pay Politicians more for the work that they do.
Mr Brown, and his live in lover, Peppermint Pattie issued a statement: 'My Gordon's planned payrise is just ridiculous. He did not give the Firemen more money, or the Police money, and now he wants to give the politicians and people that sit on the back benches all day more money for what they do. It is just stupid'.
Peppermint Pattie said: 'Chuck is right. Gordon should have done more to give these hard-workers who risk their lives everyday more money. I don't see what the Police are arguing about. They are paid enough, aren't they. Peanuts is more than enough for anyone'.
