London - (Conspiracy Mess): In an ironic twist of fate Amy Winehouse's husband has grassed up detectives who secured the dropping of Kate Moss's June 2006 drug charges in a plea bargain struck from the detox wing of HMP Belmarsh where he is on remand on trial fixing charges.
Blake Fidel-Civil is in the slammer after being charged with trying to suborn prosecution witnesses with a £200,000 bung to stop them testifying in his forthcoming GBH trial this month.
His lawyer said today that his client wants to strike a deal to secure the dropping of perversion of the course of justice charges in return for naming names.
Fielder-Civil's statement incriminates officers currently being probed in a Met Internal Affairs investigation into £6 million of police expenses missing from a recent audit.
The sums were racked up on Amex credit cards issued by the Golders Green branch of the Northern Crock Bank and were allegedly part of an 'arrangement' for Moss getting off scot-free on five counts of dealing crack cocaine.
