In a bizarre new move to rake in some money, the British Government has decided to start taxing the Living Dead.

A spokesperson from the Tax Office said today "up until now the Living Dead have got off easy in the tax stakes. We have only been able to get the two pennies of their eyes, now they're going to get hammered!"

Asked for his comments from underneath a mound of earth in Highgate Cemetery, Bill "Gripper" Grimson, ex stunt man and undead zombie actor who has had small parts in Shaun Of The Dead and 28 Weeks Later, said :-

"Frankly, I'm fuming. I've given my right leg and left hand for this country. Now they want my bloody guts as well. It'll be a cold day in Zombie Hell and I'll be spinning in this 'er grave before I pay anymore. Money Grabbin' B******s!"

Several of his undead colleagues were also asked for their comments but couldn't respond as their lower jaws have fallen off.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
