THE bereaved family of entertainment kingpin Roy 'Record Breakers' Castle this week moved to fortify the tragic star's final resting place.
Since his untimely demise, Castle's grave site in the London Borough of Stevenage has been besieged by grieving fans of the talented trumpeter, eager to say their final goodbyes.
The flocks of fans are however causing considerable damage to the site and as such his family have moved to temporarily fortify the gravesite in order to undertake essential restoration work.
It was announced that a large moat is to be dug around the cherished site in order to reduce the amount of visitors, some coming from as far afield as Scarborough, so leaving one of Britain's most fondly remembered entertainers in peace.
Devoted followers will still be able to pay their respects to Castle by boarding a twice daily jolly boat, personally manned by Castle´s Ugandan adopted son, Mbop, which will moor at the side of the gravestone for a period of no more than 20 minutes.
